Ok, this post is an entry to Shoemoney’s Affiliate Summit West Gambler contest.

So being very unfortunate to live in an Asian country (Philippines) disqualifies me to attend events like these. Ever since I started doing business online, I always craved for attending events like Ad Tech, Blog World Expo, Elite Retreat and of course the ever famous Affiliate Summit. These are largely due to these alibi reasons:

• I am a fuckin college student – yes it sucks, but hey im close to graduating now. college sucks everyones time and really it sucks.
• No Money – I never have ever went to any country and Im not sure I can finance the trip, stay in the hotel and hang out and spend bigs. Im just a student, I dont think we are wealthy enough and I couldn’t just sell my own network of websites and blogs (w/c I worked hard) just to attend a single conference.
• No good traveler – I vomit a lot in trips, easily feel dizzy and whatever.
• And many more..

Of course winning the contest couldn’t still help some of the listed above (being college and no good traveler), but Im willing to sacrifice. I believe I can skim the first part of the trimester next year because Im quite smart, and also I can bring some medicine to prevent myself from puking.

Why Should I Win?

To be honest I don’t know. Im not in the position to talk that Im the most deserving guy to be in there. I do affiliate marketing for 2 years now but really I don’t make close to what the kids in wickedfire make, or close to the commission that Tyler Cruz gets from even just one referral of his. Again Im a student so I have a bad credit record, and DAMN it, checks come here after 2 months (and the fact that most companies pay using NET-30 or NET-45). and yea again Im not qualified for wire transfer because I dont yet earn that big.

Im not an affiliate marketing noob, but I cant call myself an intermediate yet so yea I could benefit from the conference alone. Rolling out with some people there is a big plus, especially shoemoney whom I think i have won three shirt of his and stuffs.

Walk Away With Cash or Gamble?

Im not a pretender, nor a douche so I would pick the $1000 cash. Why? Well Im not a gambler, I dont have any idea how gambling in casino works (except the foolproof roulette). Also a thousand dollar is a BIG money here in Philippines.

I dont know about you and Im not in debt, but $1000 could just simply change my business in the sense that I can now do some of the things I am holding to for a long time because of the lack of money (and for being poor in this business).

so thats it.. uhm, i think i deserve to win it. But again thats just me!
